Women’s interfaith and prayer is a topic about the lack of justice throughout much discussion in today’s world. The Dialogue demonstrates that the issue of women’s for justice continues to be unanswered. Even women do not inspire other women to pray for peace and justice in this world. After 2000 years women’s voices are still unheard, and we need to ask why.
None of the 5 great religious organizations have encouraged women to speak out for faith and justice. Large congregations of religious organizations have in essence neglected the intelligence and experience of women’s interfaith prayer for justice.
Why are women not given leadership roles within religious organizations? The world needs more balance and women’s interfaith activities could bring about that balance. A society where the inclusive understanding and commonality is found as a result of motherhood is expressed by a Women’s interfaith movement. Prayers for justice must be provoked within the context of a male dominated society to bring about a more balanced world of peace.
The men that dominate the landscape within the religious communities must surrender their authority to a more inclusive community of Women’s interfaith and prayer for justice. Women’s prayers and interfaith beliefs and cultures have to be discussed on a global level. Women need to be made a part of the interfaith prayer for justice and global peace. Encouragement and focus on Women’s interfaith between faiths and between cultures can bring about prayer for justice on a global level.
