What Are Rosary Meditations?
If you go to the Catholic Church, they will say the Rosary is a traditional Catholic prayer that seeks to honor Mary. So in my book that makes it a symbol of Mother Mary and I believe my book Rosary Meditations offers a visual prayer or a visual rosary meditation if you will.
Just as the rosary has fifteen mysteries that recall the joyful, sorrowful and glorious moments in the life of Jesus, so I depict the images that reflect these feelings in Rosary Meditations. It is the Mary symbolism that I try to portray without actually reciting the prayers to a strand of beads.
For me a Rosary meditation is a visual representation of all that we feel, all that we wonder, and all that we seek. In this book, you will encounter images representing delightful meditations and ancient stories.
HOLY SPIRIT COME
The Holy Spirit comes to bring new life to all of humanity. A sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind,
and it filled the whole house. The multitudes watched in confusion because every man heard each other speak in his own tongue.
Help us, Mary, to hear the Holy Spirit and rejoice in God, our creator, regardless of our color, race, language, or belief. Guide us to act as stewards of God’s creation in all we do, think, and say.
OK, so maybe this is a little too Catholicky, but isn’t that what we all want, a new life for humanity? Cannoth we all meditate both in silence, through prayer and in viewing visual images in such a way that it creates a meditation? That is what I try to portray through the Rosary Meditations.

THE MUSTARD SEED
Mark 4: 30–32
In this parable, the Kingdom of God is like the smallest of seeds and becomes a tree. Living creatures perch in its branches.
Our human mind is like a seed planted
Let’s take a look at this image. It is an artistic piece created by a woman iconographer. But if you look closely enough you can see that it is a Rosary meditation, a visual petition fo change.
In the rosary we say, “Help us, Mary. In knowing we are chosen and loved by God. Grant us courage,” I often translate these ancient prayers into visual manifestations, and in this book into visual rosary meditations to help us in this modern world to ask her for worldwide awareness for the Earth.
In the world we can see a handful of visionaries can imagine a world of clean air, crystal clear water and renewable resources. Our majestic
history is a source of nourishment and shelter, so the icons I created for Rosary Meditations is a visual manifestation of our need to seek a solution to these problems.
We should all manifest a better world, a more loving environment and more humanity in every aspect. That is exactly what we want and what I try to show in Rosay Meditations.
