Mary Jane Miller has been working on a new collection of contemporary icons called On Holy Ground. The work focuses on care for our planet Earth. Our Mother Earth Goddess holds the planet.  Christ consciousness is energy outside time and space. For us to see it as such, requires a growing number of Earth images. Some human beings believe Spirit has a spacial identity felt and understood by humanity on this planet. Others believe that Christ consciousness is energy outside time and space which possibly dictates and validates our place on our planet. Either way, I like the idea that there is an energetic intelligence manifesting the universe.

Iconography is a new contemporary concept.  Mary is the original cosmic earth goddess. Mary Jane Miller has created a collection of work to honor contemporary iconography with Earth Iconography. Mary is like the mother earth, she is the protector of the cosmic earth. She is one of the original Earth Goddesses and  protectively holds the planet earth as a great creation. Gaia mother earth is also mother nature, she is the conduit between god of heaven and earth. God created heaven and earth and all that is in it.
