The installation encourages humanity to reflect on our religious practice and rejoice in our commonality. This New Art Project for Peace and Hope invites the viewer to become acquainted with the fascinating world of spiritual imagery. It has the potential to teach us in subtle ways a hidden message. The relevance of the message is for our contemporary society.

The Art might make us uncomfortable when we see Buddha next to Christ and Mohammad next to Confucius. BUT The plant and animal Kingdom evolve with relatively little greed, jealousy, or oppression around them, why not humans?”

A TRAVELING EXHIBIT

The installation is an iconostasis consisting of 40 prayer wheels and 27 images. The art represents 5,000 years of spirituality through human history spanning 7 continents. In Eastern Christianity, an iconostasis is a wall of icons and religious paintings that separate the nave from the sanctuary in a church. It is created for meditation and prayer which encourages humanity from all religions and beliefs to break free what divides us. The traveling exhibit’s aim is to align our thinking with that of great teachers and philosophers. It is a monument to promoting Peace and Hope for a Better World and the idea we are all one.

I AM ASKING A LOT

I have asked many questions as I struggled to make sense of so many ways to relate to the mystery surrounding the question Why are we Here?  The Time spent on this New Art Project for Peace was two years. Perhaps the project will stimulate your Dialogue with someone about the ideas I have put forth. I am interested in feedback from those conversations.  If you do, well then, this has work has been a success.
